Fleming’s Ultimate Bar Tutorial was my key to success on the California Bar Exam on my first attempt! Professor Fleming’s energetic attitude and detailed instruction motivated me to put my very best effort into each day. Prof. Fleming told me how to think and how to focus, and gave me tools for staying centered when the pressure was on. I knew from Day 1 that my success was dependent on how well I followed directions… So, I just did what I was told. It paid off!

Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
Thank you for helping me pass the hardest bar exam in the country! Jeff Fleming's understanding of the law, entertaining lectures and personal encouragement put me on the right track to pass the California bar exam. I recommend that anyone studying for the California bar exam take Flemings Fundamentals of Law. It was well worth it.
Dear Susan Sneidmiller,
I needed to let you know that I am very thankful that I took your weekend California Performance Test course. Taking your course instilled in me the confidence (something I did not have before) to walk into the July 2011 exam knowing I could achieve 2 passing scores on the PT's. I also want to say thank you for responding to all of my emails promptly and in a very encouraging manner. After the first weekend boot camp, I had seriously entertained the idea of postponing taking the exam because I did not think I could achieve the necessary scores. I am glad I stuck it out.
Sincerely,
Name Withheld By RequestDear Fleming's,
There is absolutely no doubt that my first-time success on the July 2011 California Bar Exam was a direct product of the short-term program by Fleming's Fundamentals of Law! Professor Jeff Fleming and each visiting professor taught each subject with such great thoroughness and diligence that I was able to walk into the examination with complete confidence in my ability to issue spot and respond to each question (the issue checklists are permanently ingrained in my brain!). Comparing my study experience with fellow peers in other programs, I quickly observed how FFOL offered many more opportunities to practice writing essays and performance tests to hone my writing abilities, AND the graded responses came back exceptionally fast! Above a solid learning experience, the positive and encouraging atmosphere each day in class generated by Professor Jeff Fleming and his staff kept my spirits high in quite possibly the most stressful experience of my professional life. I am truly thankful I decided not to follow the crowd, but instead decided to take the FFOL course over all others. I can't thank everyone at Fleming's enough for all their hard work and support dedicated to my success!
Jessica L. Travis , Esq.Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I hope you remember me - I was a student in your Long Term Program this Spring. I want to thank you for your helping me pass the bar exam. Your fun lectures, great advice, and occasional/frequent kicks in the rear were instrumental in helping me pass.
I hope you keep up the great work helping future lawyers and wish you the best!
Sincerely,

Thanks to Jeff Fleming's method and the continuous committment of him and his team, I received the ability to master every aspect of the bar and ultimately pass the bar. Thank you Jeff Fleming and all your team for helping me pass the bar!!!
Dear Fleming's,
FFOL was a substantial part of my passing the July 2011 Bar Exam. When I left UCLA to pursue a career in the music industry 16 years ago, I promised myself that I would always go back and reach the goal of becoming an attorney. As time passed and success was fortunate, the hopes of being able to go back to a traditional law school dwindled. I had to teach myself the law and how to write essays. FFOL was a part from the start. I was there every week meeting with your tutor, Dana, beginning in my first year. I may have not done it the way I dreamed about 20 years ago but I passed every test on the first try, including the July 2011 Bar Exam. Thank you for being a part of this achievement !
Dear Jeff Fleming and Susan Sneidmiller,
I cannot thank you enough for all your help and support you both have given me. I finally conquered this exam. When I saw my name pop out, I was in disbelief. I am humbled about the fact that you never gave up on me and really demonstrated that you actually cared about whether I passed or not.
I will stop by on a weekend just to thank you, because I could not have done it without your help. My good friend Roberto Rico took your writing workshop. I recently saw him and I asked him how he felt about it. He told me that it was a huge help and that he actually made the dean's list. I preached to him that your program works. I will do the same to my other colleagues at TJSL.
Anyway, thank you again Jeff, and thanks to Sue for all her help!

Thanks again!
Ryan StanleyHi Jeff Fleming,
I passed the Bar Exam this time--and a big thanks to you for all the input you provided from the first essay workshop through your at home/online prep course. I am one of your old guys--at 62. After an engineering research/consulting career, I attended Concord and your essay workshop as part of my preparing for the Baby Bar. Now I am studying for the Patent Bar, having interned with a patent attorney for 2-years.
Because your light shined on the path, my hat is off to you.
You are the best,
Mike KeelingDear Jeff Fleming,
You and your course got me through 4 years of night school and after a 3 year sabbatical (my husband got cancer and died), I was able to take your course and pass the CA Bar Exam - THANK YOU!!!!! You and your staff have made my hugest dream come true!
With utmost gratitude and respect,

Thank you for your amazing outlines, an incredible collection of essays, comprehensive MBE books - all of this accompanied by your unwavering commitment to our success. A sincere thanks to all your lecturers for Performance, Evidence/Civil Procedure, Property, and Remedies. You all care so much with a level of energy that knows no bounds. You challenge us to match your energy and commitment and that is what sets your program apart! Thank you for your dedication, passion and tough love!

I am writing to you to inform you that I passed the October 2011 Baby Bar Exam and it was all thanks to you.
If I had to describe your boot camp program in one word it would be 'MONEY'. Your simulated exam approach is the best way to condition oneself to take the 8-hour exam. By practicing the essays daily, I was able to condition myself to finish each essay within one hour, which is very important.
The most helpful tip that you gave me for the exam were the checklists. I really believe that I would not have passed without the checklists. Since issue spotting is pretty much where your points come from, the checklists helped me not to overlook any significant issues.
Also, my weakness has been the MBE's. However, after I got your MBE books which helps explain why the correct answer is correct, I was able to eliminate the wrong answers quickly.
I am so thankful for all your workshops and am so happy I discovered your program. I'm not sure I would have been able to take on the Baby Bar without you. Thank you so much.
Islam BahhurDear Fleming's,
Passed the October 2011 FYLSE first try!! Just wanted to say THANKS. In addition to my general courses, I learned the subjects with sum & substance, and reviewed with Kaplan and Superior. However, when test time approaches - law students should be listening to Jeff Fleming! Great approach, razor sharp focus on mental strategies to succeed. Your system really works. The FFOL subject and essay courses are right on. You obviously have this whole process figured out and know how to communicate it.
I have an MD and a PhD and used to teach undergrads at Harvard - so I know a little bit about the ins and outs of teaching advanced subjects. One of the things that really strikes me about our school's lectures and tests (Concord) is that the professors really seem to have no clear idea how to take students across that last mile of the marathon. I'm fortunate to have stumbled on a reference to Jeff Fleming in an online review of another lecture. I got 80 and 85 on the first two essays - 641 overall.
Thanks again!! I'll be back for future rounds.
Aaron FillerDear Professor Jeff Fleming and Staff,
The 2011 October Baby Bar results are in and I passed with a 683! I would not have been successful without listening to your Baby Bar review CD's on a daily basis. Working full time as a police officer and a full time student, you don't have the leisure to study substandard outlines. Jeff Fleming's approaches gave me a road map that led me to success as a first time passer. School will give you a basic understanding of the law, but Jeff Fleming teaches you how to pass the test!
Thanks for everything,
Gordon SmearerDear Professor Jeff Fleming,
With a new job, family responsibilities and keeping up with my 2L course-work, I was really looking for a creative and time sensitive way to prepare for the October 2011 Baby Bar Exam.
Your "Exam Solutions" lectures, outlines and mnemonics proved to invaluable!
I listened to your lectures while commuting to/from work and during my lunch breaks. At night, after the kids were asleep, I worked through the practice examinations and then listened to your analysis of the fact pattern and legal issues.
When it came time to take the exam, I followed your advice and scribbled the following on my scratch paper, knowing with confidence that the checklist would help me identify the issues.
Today I received my results and am pleased to inform you that I was successful in passing the Baby Bar!
Thank you for providing me with a solid legal foundation, an approach to tackle the toughest questions and the confidence to succeed.
All my best,

Just wanted to let you know that I passed the October 2011 Baby Bar exam and would like to THANK YOU for all the help and guidance that you provided during my first year at NWCU School of Law.
I just cannot imagine studying for this exam without using the material written and published by you. I was also fortunate enough see you in person and get a direct feedback from you on the essay writing during the (Thursday) video chats. All this put together along with your books and CDs, made it a lot easier to pass this exam in first attempt.
Thanks again.
Archana JoshiHi Fleming's and My Tutor Julie,
I just got my October 2011 Baby Bar results (like literally 5 minutes ago) and wanted to let you know I PASSED!!!!! I got a 75 on the Criminal Law question, which was my weakest area prior to working with you. I got a dreadful 50 on the Crimes essay last time around so to go from a 50 to a 75 speaks volumes of the impact your instruction had on my ability to succeed. I seriously couldn't have done it without you!!! I'll be back for more come Bar exam time….
Thank you SO much,

We just received our October 2011 FYLSX results, and as a first time taker I scored 679! THANK YOU for giving me the tools I needed to be successful. The Baby Bar Review helped me organize information so I could study efficiently, and the Exam Focus interactive course helped me fine-tune my skills. I KNOW I could not have scored a 679 on my first try without your material. You'll be hearing from me for materials to help me with my 2L courses.

Roberto Isaac AlvarezTaking Fleming's online bar review course was easily the smartest decision I made while preparing for the July 2010 California bar exam. The lectures were easy to follow, the assignments were clear, and the timeline helped me peak just before the exam. Further, the detailed personalized feedback for each of my essays and performance tests helped me improve my strengths and fix my weaknesses. Fleming's unique technique makes it virtually impossible to miss any main issues on the exam. Thank you Jeff and the rest of the Fleming's crew for helping me pass the California bar exam on my first try!

Ani Avedisian , Esq.Thank you for being an outstanding coach! Your personal commitment to your students and home study course fully prepared me, both academically and psychologically, to pass the July BAR Exam!
Judy Baker , Esq.Thanks to you, I sailed through law school and the California Bar Exam. I have so much to thank you for. Not only were you my mentor, but also you were my inspiration. I would never have made it through the entire process without your help.
Juan Blance , Esq.I'm thrilled to be joining the chorus of new attorneys who are praising Jeff Fleming and Susan Sneidmiller for helping them pass the February 2011 California bar exam.
I took Fleming's Online Bar Review course, and it was excellent. Jeff Fleming gives a very in-depth review of the substantive law, but what made the difference for me was that Jeff Fleming also gave me clear, practical and reliable checklists and approaches to writing essays for every single substantive topic. I didn't get that from an earlier bar review program I'd signed up for with another company. With Fleming's, the light turned on, everything began to fall into place, and I understood how to plan, analyze, organize and write every kind of essay--Evidence, Con Law, Civil Procedure, Property, crossovers, you name it.
Susan Sneidmiller got me out of a tailspin on the Performance Tests. I'd had some negative reinforcement from another company's PT instructor and I kept getting mentally stuck, running out of time, and not writing coherently. Susan's lectures broke down each part of a PT and gave me a simple, methodical but extremely thorough approach to organizing, analyzing, writing and time management. I was able to stop approaching PTs from a position of fear, especially the overwhelming fear of not having enough time to write, and I was actually able to give myself time to take a quick break during the bar exam, walk away for a few minutes, and let the big picture sink in clearly--without being stressed out by the clock. Susan gave me the confidence to think more, write less, and trust my guts as a lawyer would in real life.
Fleming's MBE materials were great. No matter what our classmates say, I believe that when it comes to MBEs quality is more important than quantity. Fleming's gave me a deeper understanding of how to see what was going on with each MBE question and it became much easier to understand the subtle distinctions between the answer choices, especially when having to choose between the two best answers. I became much more aware of the difference between "if...," "if, and only if..." and "unless..." I understood better why an answer involving a counterargument might be a better choice than an answer invoking a defense, even if both answers were true. And it was not a problem to answer the 200 MBEs in the time allotted.
I entered the Oakland Convention Center smiling, because I finally understood how to approach every essay, MBE and PT that I might encounter. I survived a major software problem on the first day that caused me to have to hand-write half the essays and PTs for the first time ever, but I was able to stay on course because Fleming's gave me the tools and strategies I needed to succeed.
There is nothing like that first moment when you read that your name is on the pass list for the California bar exam. Being sworn in as an attorney is an exhilarating, surreal experience. Fleming's Fundamentals of Law--Jeff Fleming, Susan Sneidmiller, and their dedicated staff--made it possible for me.
Peggy Bristol-Wright , EsqMy name was on the pass list for July. The Performance exam workshop and exercises really helped me get through that tough hurdle. FFOL is simply the best!
Keith Brown , Esq.Hi Jeff Fleming,
I took the exam this past July 2010 and passed! I am elated and so ready to start practicing. Thank you again for all of your terrific instruction and lecture materials and practice exams. All the best to you and your staff.
Sincerely,
Name Withheld By RequestI am writing to thank you for all of you help. I truly could not have done it without your guidance and support! Thank you for all the effort you and your staff put in this program.
Sheri Chlebowski , Esq.Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I possibly would not have passed my 1L year, the MPRE, or the February 2011 California Bar on my first attempt without Professor Jeff Fleming and his FFOL courses. Being able to listen to the law while I commuted, cleaned, worked and worked out greatly augmented the efficiency of my studies. Being a drilling Navy reservist and a full-time law student was tough, but by listening to Professor Jeff Fleming's lectures and advice, I was able to graduate in under three years. I am now one giant step closer to realizing my dream of serving as a JAG officer.
Thank you again Professor. I probably would not have Esq. after my name if it were not for FFOL.
Very Respectfully,
Nick Cohen-Meyer , EsqYour home study Bar Review made the difference in passing the Arizona Bar examination. Working full time, handling the responsibilities of being a father, your product made the difference. Respectfully and sincerely!
William Condray , Esq.Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I think the Ultimate Bar Tutorial class actually over-prepared us for the July 2010 Bar Exam. Having to take multiple practice exams, memorize multiple checklists, focus only on the Bar, and be shown the tips and tricks that the Bar Examiners themselves use, really took a lot of the stress and anxiety out of the Exam. When I sat down and read the questions the days of the exam, they all seemed much easier than most of what we had seen in class. Attorney's, April Molin and Julie Flanagan, really helped out with the essay grading, moral support, knit-picky student questions, and the occasional much needed study break distraction/conversation.
Yours Truly,
Jeff CooperThank you for all your help through law school and preparation for the Bar Exam. It made the Bar a pleasurable experience. Give my best to everyone associated with Fleming’s.
Amy Cordova , Esq.Dear Fleming’s,
Thank you again, to everyone for all of your efforts in helping me pass the February 2010 CALIFORNIA BAR.
The short of it is, “Not only was I taught what you need to know to pass the Bar, but how you need to know it.”
For as little time as I had to study, your course rolled up everything I learned in law school and more, into tight, neat little packages, easy to apply to taking the Bar. The afternoon performance exams were viewed in a whole new light after listening to all of Sue Sneidmiller’s helpful hints – it actually made it easy to approach. EVERY law school should require their students to take her course, as they can’t even touch what she knows on what the examiners are looking for.
Sincerely,
Diane Cosko , DVM and JDHi Jeff,
I just wanted to let you know that I passed bar! Thanks for all your support through the years and especially the bar as your materials proved to be a great, additional resource. I hope all is well!
Best,
Ricson C. Dakanay , JDI passed! I don’t think others realize how thorough and intensive you home study program is. The ability to replay parts that I didn’t understand was an enormous advantage over live or televised presentations.
Frank Denby , Esq.Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
Thank you for all the time and effort you and your exceptional team put into my success with the Bar. The personal attention you gave me was priceless.
I appreciate the time and thoughtfulness John, April, Julie, and the other graders put into critiquing my essays. The rigorous grading showed where to focus my attention and pushed me to work even harder.
Susan's approach to the performance portion of the Bar exam improved my efficiency and analysis.
The personal attention I received from Jared on the MBE helped me hone in on specific areas for improvement.
Your team's assistance greatly increased my skill and confidence. Thank you all.
Sincerely,
Leon Dixson , EsqI passed. Thank you Fleming’s for delivering to me the greatest result, so that now I can move on with my life!
Julia Donoho , Esq.Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
As I received my July 2010 Bar Examination results on Friday, I wanted to make sure to thank you for your bar preparation class. I appreciated your enthusiasm, hard work and knowledge that you share with your students including myself. I felt very organized and prepared as I entered the examination. I have recommended your class to everyone who is planning on taking the bar in the future. Keep up the great work!
Sincerely,
Danica DoughertyWithout your help I would have been lost during the Bar Exam. Your class gave me the confidence that I needed not to panic during the test, the knowledge to answer the questions correctly, and the practice necessary to know how to use my time properly. Being an attorney in California is a goal I have achieved thanks to your help.
Kirk Endres , Esq.I passed the bar on my first try, and I honestly believe that your bar review course is the best on the market. Your detailed and personalized reviews of so many of my essays and performance exams really enabled me to fine tune my writing for the exam. Thanks!
Kirsten Fish , Esq.Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I spent the last two years listening to your Bar Review tapes, your lectures and reviewing the checklists. Although that is only one step to the final success, it is an important one.
The simplicity and sharpness of your presentation are truly unique. Some professors try to be too funny, some are too compendious, some do not focus on the practical aspects of the Bar, others are too self-centered, discussing their children and family instead of the law…
Your presentations have always been perfect, focused on passing the bar, with marginal embellishments, which were always tailored to a practical purpose. I passed the Bar the first time because I listened not only to the content but also the context of your presentations.
Myself a university professor, I am fully aware of the importance of environment and the nature of the lecture, which is fully in the power of the lecturer. One is not “made” a good lecturer, one is born as such. You have all that it takes.
Thank you for your help in my passing the February 2011 Bar!
Sarah Fisher , Attorney at LawDear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I took Professor Jeff Fleming's bar prep course and passed the exam on the first try. I credit the program for much of my success. Professor Jeff Fleming breaks the exam down during prep so you know exactly how to attack it when you have to take it for real. This program demystifies the exam so that you won't be intimidated by it. By the end of the program, I felt that I could handle any question the examiners could throw at me. I really believe any law student can pass the California bar exam if they take this program and do the assigned work.
Sincerely,
John FordI could not have passed the February Bar exam without the intense preparation, supervision and test taking techniques provided by Jeff Fleming and FFOL. I decided to go with the FFOL Ultimate Bar Tutorial because I knew I needed the individual attention the program offered.
Jeffrey Frayer , Esq.Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
Thank you for your amazing outlines, an incredible collection of essays, comprehensive MBE books - all of this accompanied by your unwavering commitment to our success.
Sincerely,
Antoine GadpailleAs a repeater with a successful academic background, I needed that extra something to make my efforts translate into PASSING. With the very intense structure, constant staff support, and continual individual feedback – I can tell you PASSING the February 2011 Bar Exam was achievable for me because of the people who run Fleming’s Fundamentals of Law Ultimate Bar Review.
THANK YOU :)
Katie GalletteIt was all of you who believed in me and gave me the confidence and knowledge to pass one of the hardest exams in the country on my first attempt.
Rozanna Geil , Esq.Fleming’s exceeded my expectations! I strongly recommend FFOL…the best bar review on the market!
Chad Gillette , Esq.Thank you! You may indeed take credit for my success, because you showed me how to achieve it. I shall recommend this course to others as it was recommended to me.
Ben Griffin , Esq.Dear Fleming's,
I don't think that any other bar review course could have made me more prepared or confident to take the bar exam than Professor Jeff Fleming's course. He breaks down every section of the exam so you know exactly what to expect, and gives you the issues and laws you need to know in a simplified and understandable manner (along with mnemonics and other helpful tools to remember them).
By the end of the course I had outlined/written and received detailed feedback on over 40 questions from prior bar exams that I had taken under timed conditions, and that doesn't include the numerous exam questions we went over in class. Not to mention he will have you laughing at least a couple of times during every lecture, and makes sure to reel you back in when your brain inevitably begins to tune out.
When I finally sat for the July 2010 bar exam I felt as though the bar examiners could not give me any type of question that I hadn't already seen, and that I didn't have a strong strategy and method for tackling. I knew I had taken a good bar review course when I got to the last question on the last essay of the bar and kinda laughed because I could hear Professor Flemming’s voice in my head quoting the rule that applied, and cracking a joke about the fact pattern that went with it.
Thank you to everyone at FFOL for the constant encouragement and endless help that you provided.
Denise Griffith , EsqThe best decision I ever made was to place my preparation for the California Bar in the guiding hands of Jeff Fleming. I received personal attention and guidance on how to study. It was systematic and thorough. UBT is the best choice!
Randy J. Harvey , Ph.D. Attorney At LawDear Professor Fleming and Staff,
It is with great pleasure that I report to you that I passed the July 2010 California Bar Examination. When I found out that I passed, I was overcome with joy and pride. I however, was not surprised by the good news.
Your Ultimate Bar Tutorial program equipped me with every single tool necessary to pass the bar. After comparing my bar review experience in UBT to that of others who did not take UBT, I am convinced there is no better bar review program on the market, period. The structure, the availability of the professors, and the breadth of knowledge that your staff brings to the program can prepare any student, regardless of educational background, for the challenge that is the California Bar Examination. UBT is focused on one thing, and one thing only: creating the absolute best candidates for the bar with the highest chances of success. UBT inspired the confidence inside me necessary to be a successful candidate. Needless to say, when I walked into the exam on the first day, I had never before felt more prepared and confident in my ability to perform on an examination in my life. I owe that feeling, the serenity that comes with it, and ultimately my success, to UBT.
If you are serious, committed and passionate about passing the bar, then UBT is THE ONLY way prepare for the California Bar. UBT trains you to be the best, and when you train to be the best, there should be no surprise to discover you ARE the best.
It is with complete humility that I thank you and your staff for making this holiday season the most memorable season of my life.
Warmest regards,,
Cameron Holmes , Attorney at LawHi Professor Fleming,
It's with undescribable glee and joy that I have the pleasure and honor of telling you that I passed this past February 2010 NV Bar Exam. The pass rate was the worse one yet, at, 48% (likely not much better than California!). I never would've been able to do it without you, your course and your staff! You are INCREDIBLE!!! This was my third time taking NV after practising for over 20 years out of NY. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
I heard you talk me thru the entire exam. You actually predictated quite a few of the NV essays. Your lectures are so right on point; your test taking techniques and insights, right on the money, and probably most of all, your strategy-technique (IRAC; practice essays (especially ones included in the lecture on-line) and outlining strategies, cliched it for me.
I did what you said; headnotes/subheadnotes, IRAC and wrote "TIME" at the end. I answered everything the way you suggested; especially Evidence with the discussion on Logical/legal relevance etc and repeated for each subpart by "supra' or "infra".
I've been telling anyone and everyone who's taking or repeat takers (especially) about you and your online course.
I wanted to thank you again and let you know the good news!!! You're the BOMB!!!
Respectfully and with utmost gratitude,
Teresa J. HolzerFFOL is a team of dedicated people who sincerely want you to succeed. Based on excellent course materials, the required exercises and the constant, meaningful feedback, I was indeed successful.
Margaret Hughes , Esq.Dear Professor Fleming,
I hope that you are doing well! I've been telling students about your Bar Prep course and how I felt the July 2009 exam was easy because of your class. I was so relaxed and confident during the exam... it was like night and day compared to all of the worries I had before the exam. Every time I walked out of a testing session, I had a smile on my face. Unlike the rest of my classmates, I felt I didn't have to worry about my results so I was relaxed for the 4 months that I waited. To get an overachiever like me who is normally stressed out during exams to feel that comfortable is incredible. Thank you again.
Best,

Fleming’s Fundamentals of Law was the essential element in my passing the Bar. Susan Sneidmiller's Performance Workshop prepared me for the Performance section of the bar by teaching me a flawless method in approaching each and every Performance essay with which I was confronted.
Shon Jeng , Esq.Hi Jeff Fleming,
I passed the Bar Exam this time--and a big thanks to you for all the input you provided from the first essay workshop through your at home/online prep course.
You are the best,
Mike KeelingThe Ultimate Bar Review was an absolutely amazing experience. I am so grateful to have had it.
Kerry E. Lewis , Esq.I can’t thank you enough for your dedication to your students. Seeing my name on the pass list was a direct result of your devotion to us, your confidence in us and your intolerance of our self-pity. My family and I thank you (especially my family).
Nick Liddi , Esq.Dear Jeff Fleming,
You and your course got me through 4 years of night school and after a 3 year sabbatical (my husband got cancer and died), I was able to take your course and pass the CA Bar Exam - THANK YOU!!!!! You and your staff have made my hugest dream come true!
With utmost gratitude and respect,
Alison MannwielerI highly endorse Fleming’s program and materials! We own a small, growing law firm in Northern California. Not only did both of our senior partners pass first time using Fleming’s Long Term Bar Prep course but one of our newly minted associate attorneys just received results this May and passed using the long term course first time through! I highly endorse his course, but ... You MUST DO ALL THE WORK AND FOLLOW FFOL’S RECOMMENDED COURSE OF PREPARATION.
Brian and Anne Matlock , EsquiresDear Professor Jeff Fleming,
Thank you for helping me pass the hardest bar exam in the country! Jeff Fleming's understanding of the law, entertaining lectures and personal encouragement put me on the right track to pass the California bar exam. I recommend that anyone studying for the California bar exam take Flemings Fundamentals of Law. It was well worth it.
I chose the Fleming’s Ultimate Bar Tutorial and made the right choice. Your assistance, support, coaching and encouragement convinced me I would pass.
Kate McGuigan , Esq.The FFOL bar program was the perfect program for me. I am forever grateful to Professor Fleming and the rest of his staff.
Teresa McNamara , Esq.Thank you so much for your dedication, encouragement, and most of all, the checklists and approaches! The team at Fleming’s Fundamentals of Law is the best out there! You were truly the key to my success!
Lauren Montana , Esq.Flemings Fundamentals of Law prepares you for the absolute worst. It exposes you to the toughest questions and issues that the bar can throw at you. It is through this exposure that you are able to walk into the exam knowing that there is nothing that the bar can test that you haven't seen before. I give Fleming's Fundamentals of Law credit for my first time success on the July 2009 California Bar Exam.

Professor Fleming’s straight forward, no nonsense method was my key to unlocking the exam. Most importantly, the entire FFOL team was 100% committed to my success every step of the way. Fleming’s practical, hands on approach to the CA Bar Exam are second to none!
L. Mudgett III , Esq.I had used Fleming’s Fundamentals of Law throughout my law school career, and so then naturally continued with Fleming’s Ultimate Bar Review course. The Bar Review course was perfect for me, and allowed me the structure and flexibility to be successful.
Lynn Murphy , Esq.I had such a positive experience in your bar prep program and know that it is because of your program that I was able to pass the bar my first time!!! Thank you so much!
Annie Murphy , Esq.Fleming`s team of attorney instructors provided the perfect balance of challenge and support to ensure that I was successful on the bar exam. Your resources and dedication were second to none, thank you for everything.
Jon Naudi , Esq, CPA, MBAProfessor Fleming’s interest, drive, and passion about teaching and success of his students were the number one factor why I made the choice. I had the opportunity to write over 50 essays and review over 19 performance exams and receive individual feedback on all of them. I would not have been able to do it without FFOL, Professor Fleming, and his staff. For all of this, I will be indebted to them forever.
Raihana Niazi , Esq.Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I took your February 2009 Long Term Bar program. I never got to thank you for my success. After getting slapped by my first bar exam, all I needed was your Writing Workshop to see what I had been missing. Hopefully, you can continue to share your wisdom with me with regards to the practice of law.
Thank you.
Best,
I worked full time for the majority of my studying time so the home study course was perfect for me. It allowed me to tailor the program to my personal needs and not spend any more time than necessary on my strong subjects. The outlines were clear, concise and paired nicely with the online lectures. Jeff Fleming and the other lecturers are all experts and explained the material in a straightforward and intelligible manner. I would certainly recommend this program.
Reed OlmsteadFlemings home study online program enabled me to pass the February 2010 CA Bar Exam on my first attempt! The road through bar review was made enjoyable due to the expert lectures and knowledge of the professors at Flemings.
Thank you Flemings for your guidance and support, I couldn't have done it without you.
Lindsey ParlinI would be nowhere without the Ultimate Bar Tutorial at Flemings! Jeff Fleming's lectures and technique gave me the strength, will power, and stamina to conquer the California Bar Examination. Coming from a non-ABA school, I knew I needed a lot more help than the mainstream bar review programs. I tell this to every bar candidate I know. If Jeff Fleming were a religion… I would have joined already!
Mona Patel , Esq.I wanted to thank you all for your support and guidance this past year. It was a long journey but you always encouraged me to succeed. Thank you so much for believing in me!
Grant S. Pederson , Esq.Dear Fleming's
Thanks to Jeff Fleming's method and the continuous committment of him and his team, I received the ability to master every aspect of the bar and ultimately pass the bar. Thank you Jeff Fleming and all your team for helping me pass the bar!!!
Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
Rather than some "secret recipe magic bullet" your no nonsense approach to passing the bar is the most effective tool I had in my toolbox. The thorough, straightforward approach, backed up by comprehensive materials and the focused and effective feedback provided by your staff put the bar in reach of everyone willing to put in the effort. My success on the bar stands as proof. Thank you Fleming's Fundamentals of Law!
Best Regards,
Avi N. Phillips , JDDear Fleming's,
FFOL was a substantial part of my passing the July 2011 Bar Exam.
Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I hope you remember me - I was a student in your Long Term Program this Spring. I want to thank you for your helping me pass the bar exam. Your fun lectures, great advice, and occasional/frequent kicks in the rear were instrumental in helping me pass.
I hope you keep up the great work helping future lawyers and wish you the best!
Sincerely,
Jason QuimbyDear Professor Jeff Fleming:
When I started law school in 2007, a tax attorney friend of mine said “The first thing you have to do is take Fleming’s Writing Workshop.”
Three years later, when I sat for the July 2010 Bar, the fundamentals I learned from your Writing Workshop had become second nature. I took the bar exam like a lawyer—the way you taught me. I had a sound technique for essay writing and a good strategy for taking each section of the bar. When I looked through bar the exam on day one, I scanned all three essays and opted to begin with question three. The non-Fleming students from my school began with question 1, and many ran out of time on the most important question.
When the smoke cleared and I saw my name on the pass list, I knew that the advantage you gave me in strategy was the difference. I did not merely write an exam. I looked at essays and allocated time for each; I examined the call of the question; I determined the order I would answer, I categorized each essay and wrote the checklists next to the categories. I tackled performance tests intelligently—using your TAP method and understanding my assignment before I started organizing. Thank you, Susan; and thank you Performance Patti. Finally, I dealt with the MBE methodically, finishing both sets of questions with enough time to go back and review.
Students from other bar preps only had 15 or 20 essays graded. I got feedback on THREE ESSAYS A WEEK! By the end of the program, I had written at least 40, each read by an attorney and accompanied by an audio CD of critique. Students from other bar preps only saw a handful of performance tests, where I WROTE a couple of dozen. Looking back, I realize that during prep I took over a dozen blocs of three-hour essays like mornings 1 & 3; two dozen performance tests (afternoons 1 and 3) and ten sections of 100 MBE questions. I was relaxed because I already knew what to expect—I had already done it.
Students in other bar preps would doze during the video lectures but you made sure that we didn’t during your live lectures by paying attention to each of us as individuals, and reading us as a group for breaks. Between you and Dr. Moss—the hypnotist you brought in—I was so mentally prepared for test day that I felt no fear. I was relaxed and composed, and able to apply my strategy.
Thank you, Professor Fleming. If you ever come across a student who is having trouble deciding to use your bar prep, have them give me a call. I was very, very fortunate to have a friend recommend your Writing Workshop. I have no doubt that your tutelage was what I needed to pass the California Bar exam.
Sincerely,
David RaskinDear Fleming's Fundamentals of Law,
It is with the utmost gratitude, honor, and joy that I compose this testimonial as a means of expressing my sincerest advocacy for Fleming’s Fundamentals of Law. Fleming’s provided me the necessary legal education and tools to lead me through law school and pass the February 2011 California State Bar examination. In addition, Susan Sneidmiller’s approach to Performance was highly comprehensive and key to my understanding of this section of the Bar that led to my passing score.
To pass the Bar one must write many law exams. Fleming’s Bar Review prepared us by having the class write three exams per week in class under timed conditions. The exams were critiqued and graded by attorneys. The critique, recorded on CD, provided positive feedback so that we may learn from our mistakes not to be repeated on the Bar. This service was also provided for multiple Performance exams. In all, my fellow students and I wrote dozens of exams in class and received constructive feedback for each one. This method of active learning helped shape my legal writing skills so that I may author passing bar answers.
Also, Prof. Fleming issue spotted many of the Bar’s toughest questions in class. This was extremely helpful as the class participated as a whole in discussing the fact patterns and issues involved. I would not want to have seen questions like these for the first time on the Bar.
Lectures based on the black letter law of the outlines were very thorough and clarified the subject matter comprehensively. Moreover, the use of mnemonics and checklist systems were invaluable in helping me retain the high volume of information needed to be recalled while taking the Bar.
Professor Jeff Fleming, I cannot thank you enough for all that you have done to help get me through law school and by the Bar. Though I consider you the finest teacher I have ever known, it is your kindness and pleasantry, which stand out the most to me. True, the tone of each class must be and were necessarily earnest but without such qualities belief and inspiration inevitably wither.
Sincerely,
Eric Rechsteiner , EsqDear Fleming's Fundamentals of Law,
I only wish that I would have taken Fleming’s Ultimate Bar Tutorial (UBT) in the first place instead of the “Big Bar Review” that I was forced to take by my school.
UBT is a comprehensive and intense program that taught me the invaluable skills on how to approach essays and Performance. The whole staff was always 100% behind me and each person was always available whenever I needed extra help. I would not have passed the bar this time without Fleming’s UBT. I will always be forever grateful to the whole staff! My fellow classmate, Michelle also took UBT and passed as well.
Linh Redhead , EsqDear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I can't thank you enough for your dedication and help that resulted in my passing the February 2011 Bar Exam on the first try. The Fleming's Bar Review is really the most comprehensive bar review course on the market. I traveled from San Diego to Fullerton every weekend to attend the live review courses, and it was all worth it!
The methodology adopted throughout the courses, the MBE, essay/writing workshop, the performance review enable the bar candidates to learn the nuances of the laws, to learn the right analytic and writing skills which is essential to passing the bar.
The material provided by Fleming, especially the collections of the past bar exams and the checklists are very helpful, and Jeff and staffs are so passionate and care about the student to achieve the ultimate goal, they are always available to answer the questions, return the phone calls and respond to emails.
As a graduate from a correspondence law school, I also used Jeff's Baby Bar review to pass the First Year law student's exam. It was a long way from there to here, and a heartfelt thank you to Jeff, Susan and the entire staff of Fleming Fundamentals of Law for your tremendous help!
Sincerely,
Sunny RickardYour Bar Review course provided me with all of the necessary tools to give me the confidence to take the test and the skills to pass! I cannot tell you enough how grateful I am for the personal time and energy you put into your Bar Review Course!
Kevin Rogan , Esq.UBT teaches you the language to use, and how to write the bar exam. The breakdowns made a big difference. Taking the UBT you will be prepared to pass the exam!
Kristi Rothschild , Esq.I am happy to inform you that I passed the CA bar on first attempt. Audio lectures and notes were very useful. The two things I found most useful were (1) regiment to write and get comments on a number of essays (many more than other bar prep classes) and (2) additional samples of past student bar essays with grades - to further calibrate my efforts. Thanks again!
Vinay Sathe , Esq.I cannot stop thanking your team! I enjoyed the class, your energy and positiveness (but I am glad I do not have to do it again) and I certainly would not have done better with any other bar preparation. Best regards and many thanks (MERCI)!
Claire Schmidt , Esq.I passed the February Bar Exam. Thank you! Your performance exam preparation was outstanding. I trusted your years of experience in bar prep rather than my own ideas. Your program is outstanding. I know I could not have passed without it.
Mary Schofield , Esq.Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I passed the February 2011 Bar Exam on my first try, after taking your Short Term Bar Review class! Comparing it to other bar review classes my friends were taking, I found you’re bar review class to be thorough and your teaching methods effective. As long as students are willing to put in the time and effort, you prepare them and give them the information they need to pass. Your jokes, humor and willingness to help your students made classes entertaining and enjoyable. I will recommend you’re bar review classes to others!
Thank you,
Allison J. Seghetti , EsqProfessor Jeff Fleming is very passionate about teaching his students and he's available to talk to them virtually at all hours. His checklist methods and past bar exam packet were a tremendous help to my passing the July 2010 California Bar.
Thank you,
Christine SongPassed the Bar at 19!
Dear Jeff Fleming,
According to the online search, my name appears on the pass list... Yeah! Thanks to all of you who were very helpful and supportive throughout the process, especially Sue, who spent so many hours tutoring me on Performance. Both of my brothers passed with Fleming's as well.
Thanks again!
Ryan StanleyMy experience with Fleming’s bar review course was fantastic. I highly recommend his course and I felt he really prepared me for the CA Bar exam. If you want to pass the bar exam, I highly suggest you take Fleming’s Fundamentals of Law.
Jodie Steinberg , Esq.There are no live courses where I live. I could either spend hours driving to a classroom to watch video presentations from another bar-review provider, or take a home course. The Fleming's Online Course offered the best value of the home courses I investigated. Jeff Fleming and his team have decades of experience with bar preparation. The materials were comprehensive, and the support team quickly responded to my e-mailed questions. I signed up for Fleming's with two friends, and we encouraged each other by phone and e-mail throughout the months of study. All three of us passed the bar exam the first time.
James StoicheffThank you sooo much for all of your help in passing the bar! There are really no words for how grateful I am to the entire Fleming’s staff. I appreciate everything you have done to help me along the way!
Gillian Studwell , Esq.Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I am pleased to report that I achieved a passing score on the July 2010 California Bar Exam.
As I had informed you, I have never attended a single day of law school. Instead, I was a participant and beneficiary of California’s Law Office Study Program.
Prior to your Bar Review course, my only “formal” legal education consisted of your Baby Bar Review Course and your Legal Essay Writing Workshop which both contributed to my passing the FYLSX. Prior to your writing workshop, I had never written a legal essay and had not written an essay of any kind in 10 or 15 years. I am certain that I would not have been successful in this endeavor without you and your wonderful program.
Jeff, my family and I owe you, Professor Sneidmiller, and your lecturers an enormous debt of gratitude. My future career in law would never have been possible without your clear and comprehensive program and materials.
Ty Supancic
California’s Law Office Study
Program
I was educated in a continental legal system overseas and I did not go to US law school. Considering my background, it was not easy to study and pass the bar exam. You courses were fitting for my situation. The lectures and materials are superb. Mr. Fleming’s enthusiasm and energy was contagious. He exhibited a real concern for his students and I benefited from it.
Temesgen Teka , Esq.Your exceptional guidance, concise materials, enthusiastic teaching style, memory retention devices, issue approaches, and never ending encouragement, were the keys to my success.
Ryan Thelen , Esq.I came to your class wondering if I was ever going to pass. But you put that uncertainty to rest right away by telling us that we all had the ability to get the job done. You offer an amazing bar review. Thank you for being such a tremendous teacher and motivator.
Anna Thomas , Esq.I would not have passed the Bar without your classes and support! Thank you so much for giving me the feeling of success and being proud of myself again!
Kathryn Tran , Esq.Dear Fleming's,
There is absolutely no doubt that my first-time success on the July 2011 California Bar Exam was a direct product of the short-term program by Fleming's Fundamentals of Law!
Jessica L. Travis , Esq.I am convinced that your methodology of writing essays under timed conditions coupled with a highly structured and focused curriculum were imperative to my success in passing the exam on my first attempt. Once again, thank you!!!
Michael L. Wasnok , Esq.The FFOL intensive MBE approach helped me boost my MBE score from the 50% range to a score high enough to automatically qualify for the D.C. Bar without examination. Thank you!
Jon Weinman , Esq.I was a distance learning student at William Howard Taft University. Thanks for your efforts in helping me be successful in both my law school course work and my FIRST taking of the Bar.
Craig Wetterer , Esq.Hello Professor Jeff Fleming,
I wanted to take a minute and tell you that I passed the July 2010 bar. Your short term bar review was great! Thank you for offering such a good program.
I truly believe that by doing everything that I was required of me in the Fleming’s Bar Prep program was the reason for me passing the bar exam.
Stacey Wolcott , Esq.FFOL was the key to helping me pass on my first attempt. Fleming’s application of the law to bar fact patterns is superb. The Performance method carried me through the Performance tests – I knew exactly what to do, and when to do it!
Paul Young , Esq. Professor Jeff Fleming,
As you know, you have been more than a coach and a mentor for me. Your bar preparation program, not to mention your tireless effort to the program, has impacted me in ways that will not go unforgotten. In particular, through your program, I was able to master essay portion of the exam. Specifically, I was able to crack the test patterns of the examiners by following your guidance and taking exam after exam after exam. Simply put, your approach to the essay exam portion of the bar is unmatchable.
In addition, the program put on by Ms. Susan Sneidmiller for the performance portion of the exam, gave me the tools to weed through the ever grueling performance file that the bar examiners use to weed out candidates. Her approach allowed me to gather my thoughts, organize my writing and answer the calls of the question. Again, without her or her approach, I would have been overwhelmed by performance portion of the bar.
In short, my success is a testament of not only my work, but also more importantly yours. Because of your commitment, dedication and time, I was only a vehicle that you used to be successful on the February 2011 California Bar Exam. Thank you for believing in me. I will forever be grateful.
Many thanks,
Mohamed YoussefDear Susan Sneidmiller,
Thank you so much for the kind regards, they are much appreciated. I am ecstatic to now call myself an attorney. Thank you for all of your advice during our 3-day workshop, I believe the help we received was a first necessary step in mastering the PT portion of the July 2010 Bar Exam.
Warmest Regards,
Robin BirnbaumDear Susan Sneidmiller,
I was meaning to contact you to inform you of the wonderful news. I want to thank you so much because it was truly your performance method that helped get me through the February 2010 Bar Exam.
I know that it was very difficult, and towards the end I thought the MBE's did me in, however, I know for sure that my confidence during the last two portions of the CA exam-testing day were attributable entirely to your method.
I know my friends who did take additional courses to learn about the Performance Test through other tutors unfortunately did not pass. I will be glad to recommend your services to anyone. You were amazing. Thank you.
Alana S. Charny , Esq.Dear Ms. Susan Sneidmiller,
I want to thank you so much for your advice, critiques, and approach for the Performance Exam section of the California Bar Exam. I undoubtedly passed on my second attempt due in large part to my enrollment in your 4-Day Performance Exam Workshop. It's truly a great feeling to be able to call myself an attorney!
Sincerely,
Donato J. Clay , EsqI passed the bar! Your Performance materials were invaluable and along with the checklists and approached were the essential tools in allowing me to pass!
Catherine Corrado , Esq.Susan Sneidmiller’s approach to the Performance Exam was absolutely key to my passing the PT’s. Her four-phase approach was brilliant.
Frank Denby , Esq.Susan Sneidmiller’s Performance system is truly superior. I did all the Performance setups as instructed. On the Bar Exam I used the tools she gave me to solve the puzzles on the PT’s. Your materials and your understanding of what is required to pass were much appreciated.
Julia Donoho , Esq.Dear Susan Sneidmiller,
Thank you very much. I owe one-third of the exam to you and the Flemings PT approach.
I fully recommend it.
Best Regards,
Arasto FarsadThe FFOL intensive Performance approach and constant practice helped me pull it all together, both with the timing and more importantly the set up. Thank you!
Greg Field , Esq.I passed the bar on my first try. Your detailed and personalized reviews of so many of my performance exams really enabled me to fine tune my writing for the exam. Thanks!
Kirsten Fish , Esq.Susan Sneidmiller and Patty showed me how read and understand a performance file. Then they proceeded to show me how to write it. Why would anybody not want to maximize the earnable points on these two tests? I believed the Performance exams pushed my score over the pass line.
John Fletcher , Esq.Dear Susan Sneidmiller,
Thank you so much.
I spent a lot of time practicing performance exams and the Fleming model helped me be successful on that part of the July 2010 BAR, so thank you (smile).
Mona FosterwhiteDear Mrs. Susan Sneidmiller,
Thank you so much for your email. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your wonderful presentation during the Flemings Performance Workshop. The workshop was instrumental to my success in passing the CA bar exam. Thank you again!
Best Regards,
Daniela JansenSusan Sneidmiller’s Performance Workshop prepared me for the Performance section of the bar by teaching me a flawless method in approaching each and every Performance essay with which I was confronted.
Shon Jeng , Esq.Dear Professor Susan Sneidmiller,
In desperate need of improving my Performance Exam scores, I turned to FFOL Performance Workshop. It was the best decision I ever made and am confident to vouch that the carefully crafted system implemented at FFOL will put you over the top, it truly is a game changer. FFOL IS A GAME CHANGER.
Sincerely,
Bryan LevarioI did not learn legal writing in school. Thus, I turned to FFOL for help. Professor Andel took time to tutor me and was always there to answer all my questions. For the first time in my legal career, I actually knew how to write like a lawyer. The method really worked for me! By the time I was done with the course, I was getting the highest grade on the Performance Exams!
Margarette Mow , Esq.I want to say thank you for helping me pass the February Bar Exam. I feel I did very well on the PT’s and I thought Susan Sneidmiller’s method was a major fact or in my success.
George Panagiotou , Esq.Hello Susan Sneidmiller,
I wanted to email you and thank you for all your help in getting me past the February 2011 California Bar Exam. There's no way I could have accomplished this without yours and Professor Fleming’s help. I continued working with your approach to Performance writing all the exams in the books that were sent to me. It is because of your approach, I believe, that I passed the Bar. I talked with Professor Fleming about some of the exams and I found out I missed some key issues. Therefore, it must have been an increased score in Performance that saw me through the exam. Thanks again and if there's anything you need or I can help with please don't hesitate to contact me.
Regards,
Eric Rechsteiner , EsqDear Susan Sneidmiller,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful message and for your guidance through the PT's on the February 2011 Bar Exam. As you probably remember, I had a timing problem with PT's, but working with you helped me minimize this problem. Your teachings broke down the PT's to a method I could apply, and this certainly alleviated some of the anxiety I felt towards them. So thank you again, and I'll be sure to recommend Flemings Fundamental's to my colleagues who are now preparing for the bar.
Best Regards,
Sireen SawafI cannot stop thanking your team! I enjoyed the class, your energy and positiveness. Susan Sneidmiller’s Performance Workshop was exceptional. I certainly would not have done better with any other bar preparation. Best regards and many thanks (MERCI)!
Claire Schmidt , Esq.Your performance exam preparation was outstanding. I followed Susan Sneidmiller’s method exactly. I am sure that my performance exams sealed my passing grade on the Bar. I actually enjoyed them.
Mary Schofield , Esq.Susan Sneidmiller’s approach to the Performance Exam is fabulous. The foundation she laid with her approach allowed me to truly understand the Performance exams.
Nicole Stults , Esq.Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I finally passed my February 2011 Bar Exam. I have to admit that the Fleming’s course on the Performance Test was the icebreaker. I consistently scored very high on the multiple choice but my PT scores were low until using your program. Well worth the money. Thank you! God Bless. I hope I can meet Jeff Fleming some day in person and thank him. I wish I ordered your program from the very beginning. Even the BIG schools like mine, UC Davis, did not prepare me for the writing portion of the CA BAR exam. The word needs to get out!
Sincerely,
Phillip D. Wheeler , EsqFFOL was the key to helping me pass on my first attempt. The Performance method carried me through the Performance tests – I knew exactly what to do, and when to do it!
Paul Young , Esq.Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
My success on the October 2010 Baby Bar is a direct result of your efforts. I would say 95% yours and 5% (me +luck and prayers). Thank you for what you have done and continue doing for us. You care for us like our father, You are a great professor, I repspect you a lot. When I saw the test results, I cried first for one hour, then I am writing to you.....We did this together, it was mostly you though....
God bless you
God bless America
Regards,
Thank you Professor Jeff Fleming!!!
I FAILED all three of my final essay questions and only passed my first year of law school finals because I scored decently on the MBE's (though still not great). BUT....one month of Jeff Fleming's "Boot Camp" and I scored a 734.8 on the Baby Bar!!!! THAT'S AN A!!!!!!
I was praying for a 560, I never imagined I would do so well. I must say I did not learn much from the school I attend, my success is solely based on your material. I am so impressed on how easy your material made it to learn the law and to write essays that I am going to buy your outlines/CD's on my 2L subjects, and for all of my other courses and Bar prep....you definately have me as a customer for the long haul!!!!
Yes, I understand I was the one who put the hard work into preparing, but without your hard work in creating the perfect material for law students I would never have made it. So, thanks a million!!!
MichelleDear Fleming's,
I would like to thank everyone at Flemings who helped me passed the October 2010 Baby Bar! I am very grateful and feel I couldn't have done it without all of your help!
Happy Holidays!
AdeleDear Professor Jeff Fleming,
Thank you! Not only did I pass the June 2010 Baby Bar, but one of my essays was posted on the bar website as a selected answer. Your Baby Bar Review was the key. I attended the live workshop. The material was excellent. Also, your tips on attacking the exam were instrumental in my success. I'll see you in a couple of years for Bar Review.
Thank you!
Alicia AdamsDear Fleming's,
I passed the October 2010 Baby Bar. I highly recommend Fleming’s Fundamentals of Law. The audio CDs are an important supplement for reviewing the in-class lectures, and the examination writing workbooks explain to the student how an essay must be written. Also, if one practices all MBE in Fleming’s multistate exam book, his or her chances to pass will definitely increase.
Finally, I can also highly recommend the seminars. Professor Jeff Fleming is a dedicated and experienced teacher and his classes are eyes-opening.
There is, at least in my opinion, nothing on the market that would offer better materials for the preparation of your law exams or the Baby Bar exam.
Name Withheld at Student's RequestDear Fleming's,
I am writing to you to inform you that I passed the October 2011 Baby Bar Exam and it was all thanks to you.
Islam BahhurI am very pleased to be writing this letter to you. I took the June Baby Bar Exam and received a grade of a B.
Just so you know how extraordinary this was for me, you should realize that I have never physically attended a law school. I am taking my law school study by correspondence. I decided that I would take the baby bar review also by correspondence and through your CDs.
I followed your suggestions religiously. I did the boot camp specifically as you detailed. I used your approaches, and they worked. Your boot camp was brutal, but it definitely gave me confidence when I knew it was time to perform.
I still can't believe I got a 90 on a contract essay question!
Your ability to simplify the law into a working set of approaches sets you apart from other professors I have listened to on tapes.
I couldn't have done it without your help. Thanks again.
Marlene BaizaTo help us beat the 10% pass rated California Baby Bar Exam, we aimlessly tried everything available on the law distributor's market. What a huge relief it was to attend our first course (Writing Course) of Fleming's Fundamentals of Law. Your courses were what we were desperately searching for ... direction.
Your course went beyond the law and taught us what law school did not: skills to attack the Baby Bar Exam. Your course simplified the subjects to where it was manageable and possible to retain through checklists and mnemonics. The CD review of the multiple choice techniques was invaluable. Your course revealed all the mystery of the Baby Bar in a dynamic, straightforward and funny way.
FFOL is guaranteed for success. We are living proof. We both beat the odds and passed the June Baby Bar Exam the first time taking it! Each time we are congratulated for our accomplishment, we thank you for working so hard on a course that works.
Thank you and your staff a million times over.
Karen & Kathleen BarrerasToday, two days before Christmas I received the results of the FYLSX.I am glad to inform you that I passed. Thank you for your Christmas present.
The difficulty of a first year correspondence student is multi fold; No one to study with, no lectures, no professors, basically you are handed a set of books to read and prepare to take the Baby Bar. (Sink or swim)
Thank God I was introduced to your course; without it I would have sunk. Fleming's First Year Review course must be mandatory for all first year students.
Sign me up for the "Fleming's Bar Review". Thank you again, see you in a couple years.
Vasken BedirianI used your essay writing handbook as I studied for the Baby Bar. I can honestly say that your model answers are the clearest of any commercially available essay writing book that I have seen. I probably wouldn't have passed without it. I also used your MBE book which was very helpful.
Most of my classmates at the Oak Brook College of Law used your materials as well. Out of those of us taking it for the first time, 17 out of 27 of us passed. Five of my classmates received A's. Thank you for giving us important help when we needed it the most.
Mark BiggerHi Professor Jeff Fleming,
I am writing to inform you that I passed the June 2011 FYLSX. I am very happy and I feel empowered in a sense. I have a great feeling of accomplishment. I know that it would not have been possible without the teachings and advice given by Fleming's Fundamental of Law. This was actually my second attempt at passing this exam. And in all actually, I feel like I studied harder the first time. However, your techniques were key in assuring that I utilized my study time more efficiently and how to expect/see things that I did not the first time. I actually participated in your home study version and your exam focus and it appears that I needed every bit. I passed by the skin of my teeth. BUT I PASSED! I would like to say thanks to you and your staff.
Best Regards,
Bryan BooneDear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I passed the October 2010 Baby Bar with a 680.
I wanted to send my thanks. I wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of your readers and materials. Again my thanks.
Russell BrandFleming’s review program was instrumental in getting me to succeed on the California Bar. What I needed after failing the Bar was to re-focus and master the material. Thanks again FFOL!
Sheri Chlebowski , Esq.Dear Profesor Jeff Fleming,
Merry Christmas and thank you for your teaching and always good humor.
I passed the FYLSE (Baby Bar) of Oct 2010 with a comfortable margin. Thank you for your teaching and efforts on my behalf. I realize essays are hurdle to master. I do not think real world legal writing is quite like this and from what I can see court decisions not written this way this but I understand and accept the reason why this writing style is required by CalBar and all law schools. Your review course was both very helpful and enjoyable to listen to and the panoply of essay choices to write very valuable.
Joel Chodos , MDThis letter is to inform you that I passed the October Baby Bar and I want to thank you for your wonderful program.
I followed your boot-camp program. I did the exam under simulated conditions for 2 weekends, issue spotted and wrote practice exams for each and every one of the essays provided in your book. Do you know what happened? I walked into the exam and took it as if it was nothing I hadn't done before.
The essays were just flowing as I had written so many of them. Therefore, they were just 4 more essays that I had to write. The multistates were very similar and some almost identical to the ones I had done in practice.
Your program put me through what was basically military style hell, but I want to thank you for helping me and for creating such a program for students such as myself who due to special circumstances were dismissed from school. I want to let you know that I also wrote the 6 essays which were critiqued by your staff. That was a great help!
Thank you again and God bless you.
N. D.I want to thank you for your superb course, without which I would never have been able to pass the June Baby Bar. As a correspondence student, I had little writing experience and no one to help me to meaningfully organize the volume of material. As you suggested, I diligently worked out all of your sample essay questions (reviewing them the three days before the exam) and intensively studied the superb MBE book you provided. Much to my surprise, not only did I receive 75 and 80 in my Contracts essays (85's in Torts and Criminal Law) but I earned an A 671) for the overall examination!
I would heartily recommend your course for anyone who wants to maximize chances to pass the Baby Bar examination and look forward to taking your Bar Review course three years from now.
Yours sincerely,
Dear Jeff Fleming and staff:
I just wanted to take a quick moment to thank you for your help in preparing me for the October 2009 California baby bar exam. I was very concerned with how I would do, as it was my first time taking it. I tried to prepare as much as possible. Your program is what I believe gave me not only the edge, but a solid foundation, which allowed me not only to pass the test but come very close to an A.
I followed your instruction, listened to your CDs, did over 3000 MBEs (scored an 89 raw), and was able to stay on task with your boot Camp (Scored an 80 on essay #4).
I will be not only recommending your program, as I have already done, but will be a client for the future bar exam.
Once again thank you.
All the Best,
David N. FerriDear Fleming's,
Passed the October 2011 FYLSE first try!!
Aaron FillerHi Professor Jeff Fleming,
I appreciate the compliment. I got an 85 on the Criminal Law question 4.Thanks a lot for your excellence and patience in tutoring. I would not have made it without your help.
Regards,
Elisha FinneseDear Fleming's,
The FFOL Baby Bar Prep course was of great assistance in preparing me to pass the June 2010 Baby Bar exam. I have also taken the FFOL Legal Writing Seminar and I currently utilize the Exam Solutions for each of my classes. Although I am currently researching the various Bar Prep courses, I am definitely leaning towards taking the FFOL course.
Thank you
Robert GarciaDear Professor Jeff Fleming,
With a new job, family responsibilities and keeping up with my 2L course-work, I was really looking for a creative and time sensitive way to prepare for the October 2011 Baby Bar Exam.
All my best,
Peter GeovanesMY ANSWER IS PUBLISHED ON CALBAR SITE!!!!! I listened to the tapes many many times before taking the October BB. 93%MBE Essays: 85, 70, 85, 70!!!! HOOOORAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! (answer A question 1)
THANK YOU, PROF FLEMING!!!!
Sharon HambrickDear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I passed the Baby Bar with the help of the Fleming's home study BB review course. Jeff Fleming was not only entertaining but the comprehensive review of the law and the sample essays were a must. I would not have passed without this review and essay writing practice. Write the sample essays, do 2000 multistate practice questions and listen to the Flemings Baby Bar review course and you will pass! The benefit I had with the home study version was that I was able to listen to it more then once. I needed this! Thanks guys!
Dear Flemings Fundamentals of Law,
I just received the terrific news that I passed the October 2010 Baby Bar! I would not have been able to pass without your program! Thank you for offering such a great tool. I completed your suggested "boot camp" twice; once before my finals in August, and again before the Baby Bar in October. I feel as though I had such a strong advantage because I participated in your review. Going into the exam I felt so confident and comfortable that I was excited to read the questions! Even though I didn't score as highly as I know I'm capable of, I PASSED because of your review!
Thanks again!
Ashley HillsHello: I just wanted to thank you for your wonderful FYLSX preparation course. I passed on my first attempt in June 2011 with a scaled score of 657.9107 with 351.4019 on my essay section. I have just started 2L and I am using your 2L program. I recommend you highly.
Debbie HoganDear Professor Jeff Fleming,
Just wanted to let you know that I passed the October 2011 Baby Bar exam and would like to THANK YOU for all the help and guidance that you provided during my first year at NWCU School of Law.
Archana JoshiDear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I would like to inform you that my "admissions status" at the California State Bar's website indicates that I have passed the Baby Bar, June 2011. I would like to thank you for your great course work. You gave me a lot of tips to be able to pass the Baby Bar. I greatly appreciated your help!!!
Thank you very very very much!!!!
T KI am finishing up 2L online with Northwestern California University School of Law. I just wanted to say "Thank You" to Professor Fleming and his staff for his wonderful Baby Bar Preparation class. I took the home version...but listening to the audio + reading the materials ...I felt as if Professor Fleming was talking to each and every one of us....both those students in the classroom ...and those students listening on CD at home. I developed confidence because I took Professor Fleming's class...and THAT was the key, in my opinion, to my beating the Baby Bar. Thank You
Andy KlukaThrough friends, I was introduced to your baby bar review course. The price seemed, at first, a little steep but, without a passing score my law career would be held in limbo.
Even though the course was recorded on DVD, your enthusiasm and anecdotes kept the eight hour day from being excessive or boring. The lecture outlines provided the rules and format for well-reasoned and cogent answers to legal questions. The "Boot Camp" regime was manageable and the practice exams were excellent because of an audio response that explained what I was doing wrong, and how to better explain the rule to fact relationship.
In conclusion, I passed first try! Your course was a major factor coupled with hard work that made for favorable results. Thank you for helping my dreams come true.
Wolfgang KovachDear Fleming's,
We just received our October 2011 FYLSX results, and as a first time taker I scored 679!
Hello Professor Jeff Fleming,
I wanted to share the great news that the State of California Bar Examiners has passed me for the First Year Law Students' exam. They did a re-read and determined that one of the MBE questions had more than one answer. That one score put me over the top and they decided to award me the passing mark.
Thank you for your teachings and support. I could not have done it without you.
Humbly,
Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
Thanks for the congratulations! I tell everyone that the only way I passed the June 2011 Baby Bar Exam was because of both your Baby Bar Home Study and Live courses. It's the truth, and they made all the difference. As soon as I receive my essays I'll scan and forward them to you.
Take care,
Lars LohanDear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I am thrilled that I passed the June 2011 First Year Law Students Examination. I appreciate all the help that I received at Flemings during the weeks leading up to the exam from you and the team. I look forward to working with everyone again in the future. I was a few points shy on the essays. However, I pulled an 80 on the MBE’s.
Last August I purchased your Baby Bar Course to help me prepare for the October Baby Bar. My grades had been very poor throughout my first year of law school and I had little hope that I would pass. After listening to your lecture CDs the material, especially Contracts, became so clear to me. I aggressively put myself through "boot camp". By October 6, I had written 50 essays and taken nearly 1200 MBE. When the results were announced in December I learned that I had passed and with a grade of "A"! Thank you for your course. It truly helped me achieve my goal.
Jessica MondragonThank you for the boost in confidence and the clarity in understanding the material. I believe that your study aids gave me. My grandfather used to say: "All I want is an unfair advantage." When some of my classmates gasped in horror at what they perceived as an extravagance in my purchasing so many of your study aids, I had no problem staring them down and explaining how much money I would save in the long run if I passed the first time by not having to return to San Francisco and take the exam again. I'm happy that the two classmates who heard this logic bought their own CDs and outlines and passed as well!
Thanks again. Sincerely,
A. Mueller
Hi Fleming's and My Tutor Julie,
I just got my October 2011 Baby Bar results (like literally 5 minutes ago) and wanted to let you know I PASSED!!!!!
Thank you SO much,
Cindy MyersDear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I passed!! Thank you very much for your excellent training program. I would not have been able to make it without your program. The program is priceless. Your graders were nice but they meant business. I was depressed when I got my marks for the essays I wrote, although I must admit, it was definitely my wake up call.
Tell your students to turn in their essays early so they have time to improve. I could have passed with a much higher score if I turned mine in earlier. I was one of those procrastinators you named on your lectures.
With Regards,
Michelle NguyenDear Professor Jeff Fleming,After failing the Baby Bar twice, I decided to take your Baby Bar class as my third and last attempt. I didn't want the stress of this test to ruin my life should I fail again. Your class opened my eyes to what the graders were looking for in an essay, which was my weakness.
Well, the third time is the charm because I passed the Baby Bar on my third try! Thank-you so much for your enlightenment. Now, I know passing the Baby Bar is doable for anyone who works hard.
Thanks again for your help. I would highly recommend your class to anyone who wants to succeed.

Dear Fleming's:
I'd like to thank Professor Jeff Fleming and his team for putting together a comprehensive review package. I didn't send in the essays like I should have with the excuse that my full-time job and full-time school got in the way, but I reviewed every word, did many hundreds of the MBE's (all of the way to Paris and back on one trip), and listened to the CD's in the car nearly everywhere I went. A chapter of my life has now been closed with a very pleasant result. Thank you!!
Dear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I want to thank-you and your staff for the excellent support and customer service you and they have provided to me over the last year. I am humbled to say that I passed the June 2011 First Year Law Students Examination and it was my first eligible attempt.
I want to personally thank-you Jeff for all the encouragement and training you provided to me. You answer all the students questions promptly and your commitment to their success is an attribute that is easily shown in your class. You are a pillar of the legal education system and highly respected.
It has been a pleasure to study with you and I look forward to working with you over the next few years. I will sit for CBX in Feb 2014, and will continue with the "exam solutions", and your other bar prep material. Your material, outlines and approaches definitely work.
Thanks again,
Steve PorturicaDear Professor Jeff Fleming and Staff,
The 2011 October Baby Bar results are in and I passed with a 683!
Thanks for everything,
Gordon SmearerDear Professor Jeff Fleming,
I am very pleased to announce that your CDs and outlines are outstanding . They are invaluable. I have followed your checklists and they worked. Due to the time constraints of final exams, the checklists keeps you focused on the possible issues and helps you not to forget them. In addition, I purchased your California Baby Bar review material and successfully passed the October 2010 Baby Bar Exam. I actually feel that I could not have done without your tutorials. I plan on participating in your California Bar Exam course.
Many thanks,
La Toya WardI am writing to thank you for the excellent way in which you prepared me for the June Baby Bar.
Because of participating in your Baby Bar Review, I was able to approach the exam with confidence.
I was especially pleased that I did not receive a single non-passing grade on the examination. My study partners and I followed your Boot Camp religiously and I was able to score 87% on the Multiple Choice Examination. I was also able to receive scores of 80%, 85%, 70% and 75% on the essays.
Thanks again for your work. I am looking forward to participating in your classes and using your materials throughout Law School.
Dale R. WellsI have had great experience with the Exam Solution Series. I was wondering if you have a promotional code that I may use to purchase, Civ Pro, Con Law, Property, and Professional Responsibility. Please let me know if you can help. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Craig BarnesJeff Fleming (May he become a conservative)Rocks! Followed his approach to Constitutional law got a B+!
Thanks Jeff Fleming,
Tom BushnellDear Professor Fleming,
I wanted to write you and thank you for everything. Your programs geared towards 1L's are the best tool I came across all year. Honestly, with the cost of law school and the competition for beating the curve, you are giving your secrets away too cheaply. Any student not taking your writing course and semester course reviews are at a true disadvantage. I don't know where I would be without your knowledge and passion for helping law school students to be successful in these rigorous programs. Everything you share with students is extremely relevant and correlated to law school success. Because of you, I was able to achieve great success during my first year of law school at Chapman and was able to impress Arizona State University enough for them to offer me the opportunity to transfer into their program. I finished in the top 30% of my class after the first year when my realistic goal before the start of the first semester was to be in the top 50% since I was out of college for over 8 years. After taking your crash courses and free classes on campus, I realized I was selling myself short and was very happy with my performance and final 1L ranking. I know it is difficult to convince a 1L to spend more money on top of tuition or even time at the supplemental classes but I can not emphasize enough that 1L's simply can't afford not to take your courses. I took your course review classes both semesters and the writing class in the Spring and believe I did considerably better on the exams compared to what I would have done on my own. I only wish you were in Arizona for bar prep as I am convinced you are the best option compared to all the services out there. I will be referring whoever I can your way and will wait for my friends to thank me later when they pass. Feel free to share this letter with any 1L's that you get in front of in the coming years when discussing your programs. If they only knew what I know now!!
Thank you again,
Eric EndeLast semester while in a state of "Pre-Finals" panic, I picked up one of your brochures and decided to attend. What a difference they made! Your common-sense approach to the law and the exam process helped me pull myself out of an intellectual mire and clear my head for exams. The results speak for themselves. Thanks to your excellent review and outlines, I got the first 4.0 in my academic history. My investment in your programs was well worth it.
Andrew GreenbergI want to thank you for your excellent material. I would never have gotten through my first year without your excellent outlines. Unfortunately, I attempted law school once before and fell to the bottom of the curve. I used all the other commercial outlines which were worthless.
I re-applied to law school, was accepted, and this time I used your cassettes with outlines and most importantly, I enrolled in the Exam Two Day Writing Workshop and BINGO! I passed. I am eternally grateful to you for your excellent material and your enthusiasm in teaching.
I look forward to receiving the Constitutional Law outline soon. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Margaret G. HernandezI recently received a letter from San Francisco Law School congratulating me for making the Dean's List. I just completed my second year of law school and thanks to your courses I raised my grade 6.1 points, from 74.4 to 80.5.
The writing workshop is the first audio course I sent away for and took. Based on how beneficial that program was for me during Civil Procedure, I purchased your audiocassettes with corresponding outlines.
Thanks again for the help. I will be working with the Fleming's tapes again in the Fall and trying to repeat my success.
Jeanine NelderDear Professor Fleming,
Just a quick note to thank you for your excellent MPRE preparation kit. I just discovered that I passed the MPRE examination and received a scaled score of 95.
I'm writing to express my strong satisfaction with the Fleming's Law School Exam Writing and Exam Solutions workshops I attended in the fall of my first year of law school (2008). I am currently ranked first in my class and couldn't have done so without your help!
Sincerely,
Hi Professor Jeff Fleming,
I just found out I'm ranked #1 in my class! This makes 2 years back to back! Thanks to Fleming's Fundamentals of Law!
Permit me to express my deep appreciation for the fine outlines and tapes you provide. In my first six months of law school I used your materials for exam review - and received the highest grade in my Torts I, Contracts I, and Criminal Procedure classes, ending the spring with a 3.68 GPA and a distinguished Honor Roll notation.
Keep up the fine work and thanks for the support!
Andy StruveI want you to know how valuable I find your final review tapes to my law school studies. Working full time and going to law school at night does not afford me the luxury of confusion and your tapes make the various law courses so much more understandable. Your tapes cut right to the important data. I have used your tapes through my first year and half of law school and will continue to use them. I recently mailed a copy of your cassette list to a friend in San Francisco who is having trouble. I'm sure once she orders your tapes she will be fine.
Thank you again Professor Fleming. Your tapes are wonderful!
Julie WahlstedtDear Prof Jeff Fleming ,
Just want to give you my heartfelt THANK YOU for your Exam Solution cd's. I know I would have done so poorly on my exams without you. I was just lost, muddling around trying to figure out how to grasp this huge amount of material. As a matter of fact, I find myself in the position of answering other student's questions now. I am a client until I pass the Bar! I'm amazed at how you throughly yet succinctly took me through Civ Pro, Con Law, Crim Pro and Real Property and when I turned over the exams, I thought...I'm OK! I can do this! So thank you so much! And I also had a lot of laughs at your jokes and your occasional stories about being practice. It's a great program!
Sincerely,
Jill YoungbloodGrades are out! I received a letter from the Dean congratulating me for being recognized on the Dean’s List with a 4.07 GPA and a class ranking of number 3 in a 1st year class of 2 13. I followed everything you said in the Writing Workshop and I received A’s in all of my classes. My professors want to use my Torts & Contracts final exams as sample answers. Your course with its written materials paid off!
Name withheld at student’s requestEveryone who gets into law school knows how to write, but law school exams require a specific type of organized presentation, different from anything else. The Writing Workshop taught me to organize and then write like a lawyer. Now I give the professors exactly what they want and my grades prove that.
Nate BearI took the Writing Workshop after I received disappointing 1st semester grades despite knowing the law better than most. With Professor Fleming’s help, I was soon able to create answers full of good factual analysis and legal reasoning. Not only did my grades improve, but I found I needed less time studying for exams. I only wish I had taken the Fleming’s Writing Workshop sooner.
Brian BeecherGreat News! My first year grades just came out. I’m in the top 7% of my class. I made the Dean’s list and Law Review. All the fantastic instruction I got in the Writing Workshop paid off. I am thrilled.
Patti DeGaetanoProfessor Jeff Fleming,
Just wanted to shoot you a thank you note. I only got A’s in my doctrinal classes. I have to give your course a lot of credit since I know it helped me get ahead.
All the best,
Josh EichensteinI had no idea when I signed up to take your course that I would be lucky enough to find the methodology for which I was searching. Your use of numerous essay exams to demonstrate your system of outlining and fact collection for test taking is dynamic. I feel confident now that I can excel in the art of test taking in law school.
Todd ElliotAfter taking the workshop and practicing the techniques you taught us, I was able to write concise answers in my blue book that got me the grades I desired. After all, what’s in the blue book is what really counts.
Jennifer GrafThank you for your workshop. If it was not for you and your program, I would never have graduated from law school. Your step-by-step approach to tackling the essays, your encouragement, and the fact you gave us feedback on our essays (for the one and only time in my entire law school experience) were priceless. Your workshop straightened out some seriously flawed ideas I had about how to argue and write essays.
Madeline PlummerIs there any other way to write a law school exam? It is with sincere appreciation and gratitude that I tell you I do not think I could have done so well in my first year without Fleming’s. I attended the Writing Workshop primarily because I was scared to death of writing a law school exam. It was at the Writing Workshop that I wrote my first exam enabling me to overcome my apprehension. What a priceless luxury to have a trained attorney read my exam and return it to me with a tape recording of valuable comments and suggestions. I continued to write practice exams throughout the year using your analysis approach. It has really paid off - my first year was more successful than I ever expected.
