The Bar exam tests a bar candidate's ability to demonstrate fundamental lawyering skills related to legal knowledge combined with the capacity to apply that knowledge in a test-driven environment. The goal of the exam is to ensure an examinee's minimum competency to perform routine tasks that assure professional responsibility for handling legal matters.
