The Committee of Bar Examiners has made it official; Federal Civil Procedure will become the 7th content area covered on the multiple choice MBE section beginning with the February, 2015 bar exam. By including this area as another MBE tested subject, the Committee of Bar Examiners has elevated the importance of Civil Procedure on the bar exam.

Currently, MBE tested subjects are Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Evidence, Real Property, and Torts. With Federal Civil Procedure, the question allocation will be 28 Contracts questions and 27 questions on each of the other MBE subjects.
