Flavia Lloyd

Professor Flavia Lloyd, an Abraham Lincoln University School of Law graduate, is a practicing immigration and naturalization attorney who teaches legal essay exam writing skills for Fleming's Legal Exam Writing Workshops, and Performance Exam skills for Fleming's Long Term and Short Term Bar Reviews. 

Background

Professor Lloyd received her Juris Doctor degree in 2013 from Abraham Lincoln University School of Law where she received numerous Dean Scholar awards and honors. While attending law school, Professor Lloyd also obtained with honors a Master of Arts degree in International Relations. Before graduating from law school, she worked for 12 years in the immigration law field as a supervising immigration paralegal. In addition to English, Professor Lloyd is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and French. 

While in law school, Professor Lloyd volunteered at immigration clinics and other immigration-related organizations. After passing the bar exam, Professor Lloyd joined Fleming's staff as a full-time instructor and immigration attorney.  

CAREER

Professor Lloyd is an experienced law exam instructor who tutors students for law school, the First Year Law School Examination, and the California Bar Exam. In addition, she also serves as an adjunct professor and grader at Abraham Lincoln University School of Law.

Professor Lloyd's teaching expertise is focused on how to apply the law to facts with an emphasis on both writing skills and exam strategy. She provides private substantive law and legal exam tutorial services for bar candidates enrolled in the Fleming's Ultimate Bar Tutorial bar review. In addition, Professor Lloyd also brings to Fleming's legal practice skills that she demonstrates and applies in her presentations devoted to the Performance Exam Workshops. 

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Professor Lloyd practices family and employment-based immigration law.
