Background

Attorney Susan P. Sneidmiller is a co-founder of Fleming’s Fundamentals of Law. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law, where she graduated in 1981 and went on to pass the bar examination. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from San Diego State University, where she graduated in 1975 and then passed the CA State Nursing Board exam. Ms. Sneidmiller is bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English.

In 1983, Ms. Sneidmiller created Fleming’s Performance Exam Workshop. The step-by-step Performance method she developed is taught in multiple law schools throughout CA.

In 1990, Ms. Sneidmiller participated in the Performance calibration grading session with the Bar Examiners, giving her a unique insight into what the Bar Examiners require in a passing answer. Ms. Sneidmiller focuses her Performance instruction on the skills the Bar Examiners expect bar candidates to demonstrate in order to pass the Performance testing format.

Career

Ms. Sneidmiller has thirty-seven years of experience in the medical/legal field as a registered nurse and attorney. Ms. Sneidmiller has maintained a private practice since 1981, specializing in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. She has handled a variety of high profile cases, including her representation of multiple plaintiffs who brought civil claims arising from the case known as the Meritage Salon massacre, the worst mass shooting in the history of Orange County, CA.

Ms. Sneidmiller is a member of the exclusive million-dollar advocate's forum, one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the U.S. with membership limited to attorneys who have won million-dollar verdicts and settlements. She has also served as a volunteer Special Deputy Trial Counsel with the State Bar of CA.

In addition to maintaining her private practice, Ms. Sneidmiller is a certified Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for the CA Superior Court, appointed by judges on a case-by-case basis to conduct independent investigations and present recommendations at court hearings for placement of children in the foster care system.

Ms. Sneidmiller is the founder and principal lecturer for Fleming's Performance Workshop and is frequently invited to teach her Performance examination method at various CA law schools. She has authored a variety of Performance examination manuals that are available in legal bookstores throughout the country.
