We plan to run our Baby Bar Workshop the same as we have done in the past. Our system is tried and true - just ask our previous students. Students will be assigned MBE homework just as they will be assigned essay homework. Trust me, if you can write a solid essay the way we teach you to write, you can apply that thought process to the MBE. This stuff goes hand in hand.

The First Year Law Students' Exam (the Baby Bar) format is changing drastically. No more essays, only MBE questions on contracts, criminal law, and torts. The California State Bar says this will make the exam more accessible and efficient. But don't be fooled, this is not a walk in the park. Many experts say this will make the exam harder and more biased. The change may happen in June 2024 or Oct. 2024, depending on the approval of the scoring method.
